Delete your Samewae account

You can delete your account and data at any time.

In the app

1. Open Samewae and go to the You tab.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete my account, then confirm.

This works the same on the Android app, the iPhone app and the website.

If you can't use the app

Email admin@samewae.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Samewae account". We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 7 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, name, photo, hometown and city.
• Your mobile number and sign-in details.
• Journeys you posted, including any you posted for family members.
• Your chats, circle memberships and the reviews you wrote.
• Your notification settings.

What we keep, and for how long

• Reports made about an account, and late-cancellation cards, for safety and legal reasons, normally for up to 2 years.
• An optional note on why you left, if you give one. It isn't linked to you.
